1. Introduction & Service Scope

  • AU Power provides professional battery regeneration services specifically for Lead-Acid and SMF / VRLA / AGM / GEL batteries.
  • Our services include diagnostic testing, sulphation recovery, and performance restoration.
  • We are a service provider, not a machine seller or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
  • We do not work on lithium-ion, EV traction, or hybrid car batteries.
  • We do not sell regeneration equipment or licenses.
  • Our technicians do not modify electrical wiring, racks, or civil fixtures at the site.

2. Mandatory Diagnostics & Approvals

  • Diagnostics First: Every battery must undergo a feasibility diagnostic before any service is approved.
  • Classification: Batteries will be categorized as Recoverable, Partially Recoverable, or Not Recommended.
  • Mandatory Consent: No work proceeds on assumptions; service begins only after the customer approves diagnostic findings and costs in writing.
  • Non-Feasibility: If a battery is deemed not feasible for recovery, only diagnostic and pickup charges will apply.

3. Performance Expectations

  • Recovery Process: Regeneration is a recovery process and is not a reset to factory-new condition.
  • Achievable Results: When feasible, an extension of 2–3 years of usable life and up to 70% cost savings compared to replacement is achievable.
  • Outcome Variables: Success depends on the battery’s age, history, and internal plate integrity.
  • Ineligible Units: Batteries with broken plates, shorted cells, or units that are swollen/leaking will be rejected.

4. Service Geography & Logistics

  • Primary Zone: No minimum quantity is required for services within Raipur.
  • Extended Service Belt: Services are available for Bhilai, Durg, Bilaspur, Korba, Rajnandgaon, and Raigarh, subject to travel and logistics costs.
  • Dispatch Requirements: Travel/logistics costs must be accepted in writing before dispatch.
  • Customer Data: Customers must provide a location pin, contact person, and battery photos before a visit is scheduled.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must provide accurate usage and repair history for the batteries.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring accessibility for battery pickup.
  • Post-service, the customer must ensure the use of proper chargers and follow all maintenance instructions.
  • Old and new batteries must not be mixed within the same battery bank.

6. Safety & Rejection Rights

  • AU Power reserves the right to reject any battery that is unsafe to move or poses a chemical hazard.
  • Technicians are not responsible for site preparation or clearing access paths.
  • The safety judgment of the onsite technician is final.

7. Policy Modifications

  • AU Power may update or modify these policies at any time based on operational learning or market changes.
  • The latest published policy on the website overrides all previous versions.
  • Proceeding with any diagnostic or service request indicates full acceptance of these terms.
